A Day In The Life: A Sample Meal Plan For A Busy Day

What you eat in a day will differ from person to person and depend on a number of factors including your age, weight, fitness goals, muscle and body fat percentage. We have developed a basic meal plan as an example for a busy day, this plan is great to build on if more calories are needed and it’s easy to alter the proteins and carbs to your personal taste and requirements.
Breakfast: Top yogurt with blueberries, almonds and honey
- 1 cup Non-fat Greek Yoghurt
- ½ cup Blueberries
- 1 ½ Tbsp. Slivered almonds
- 2 tsp. Honey
- 2 Carrots
- 2 Tbsp. Hummus
Lunch: Mix through as a salad
- 95g can of Salmon
- 4 cups Rocket
- 1/3 Red Onion, chopped
- 50g Reduced fat feta
- ½ small Sweet Potato, roasted
- ½ Capsicum, roasted
- ½ Zucchini, roasted
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 Orange
- 1 Boiled egg
- 100-150g Chicken Breast, roasted & served w/ Neapolitan sauce
- ½ cup of cooked brown rice
- 1 cup Steamed broccoli tossed w/ 1 tsp. olive oil
